‘defined lines and shapes in each single peace’
The first tableware collection is called ROSA MORADA.
The name is in honour of the Mexican working spent in contact with young local architects and handcrafters (Supermorphe) who gave me a wooden sample (called Rosa Morada) wishing to start my own artisanal experience in Italy.
Two are the GUIDELINES that shaped the seven elements of the collection: COMBINATION and DOUBLE USE which allow to overlap and combine the objects together obtaining thirteen different uses.
Everything starts with the ‘small plate’.
The ‘small plate’ can be used by its own as a saucer or a seat maker (for instance with a candle!)
The ‘small plate’ can be applied:
- to the extremities of the coffee cups /mugs, making them stackable;
- at the bottom of the coffee cup /mug, allowing to drink hot beverages without burning the hands;
- at the top of the coffee cup/mug/teapot, becoming the lid covering infusions.
At a different scale the ‘small plate’ can be transformed by simply turning it over:
- from a dessert plate to a starter plate;
- from a soup plate to a dinner plate;
- from a soup bowl to a cake stand.
Rosa Morada collection allows to combine different objects together in order to get its own setting place.
